    • Reload. Turns content into a SCORM compliant package;
    • WBT Express. Content authoring. Free and licensed versions available;
    • Xerte (Toolkits). E-learning authoring tool. Free, Intuitive design, Accessible, very good support network.
  3. Quiz and Assessment Software:
    • Classmarker. On-line quiz maker, marks tests and quizzes for you (corporate and academic);
    • E-quizzer.Hosted. Can create quizzes and assessments;
    • Mobile Study. Create quizzes for mobile phones.
  4. 3-D, Audio, Graphics, Screen-capture, and Video:
    • Audacity. Excellent audio software. A must-have;
    • Avidemux. Similar to Premiere;
    • Blender. Excellent 3-D authoring tool;
    • Camstudio. Similar to Camtasia/Captivate (screen recording). Simple to use, very good;
    • Delta 3-D. 3-D authoring simulation tool;
    • Freez Screen Video Capture. Screen-capture/recording as standard AVI video, and more;
    • GIMP. An open source classic. Similar to Photoshop (GIMP, a rare recursive acronym);
